The Story of sport X

Four years ago, a simple idea sparked an extraordinary journey... the dream of creating a "Best In Class" outdoor sports facility in Mooresville. I wanted to build more than just a place to play. I envisioned a gathering spot where people could come together, laugh, compete, and enjoy the Active Outdoor Lifestyle.

I found the perfect piece of land on Mazeppa Road, surrounded by the energy of Trackhouse Racing, Penske Racing, and Spire’s NASCAR Cup race shops. The area was already home to soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and mountain bike trails, making it the ideal location for an active, outdoor lifestyle hub. My vision? A multi-sport destination featuring Pickleball, Cornhole, GellyBall, and Drone Racing. Add to that, an inviting clubhouse, and the Gather, a place for people to relax, connect and listen to music.

But dreams don’t come easy. I spent years negotiating, searching, and reviewing over 50 properties, only to keep coming back to that one special place. No sales. No leases. Just closed doors—until one day, someone said yes. And just like that, sport X had a home.

What started as an impossible dream is becoming a reality.
